Getting to Washington, D.C.

Reagan National Airport
There are three airports that serve the DMV area: Reagan National Airport, Dulles International, and Baltimore/Washington International. The AmeriMUNC VI Secretariat highly encourages participating schools to fly into Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia. The following airlines serve Reagan National Airport: Southwest, Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, Frontier, Jetblue, and United. Once delegations have arrived at Reagan National, they can take the Metro from Reagan National to the Marriott Wardman Park. Reagan National Airport is connected to the yellow line station, DCA (located between Terminal B and Terminal C). From there, delegations can take the Yellow line train going towards Fort Totten to the Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. At the Gallery Place-Chinatown Station, delegations should transfer to the Red line train going towards Shady Grove to the Woodley Park Zoo - Adams Morgan Station. From the Woodley Park Zoo - Adams Morgan station, the Marriott Wardman Park is less than a block away. In total, transit time from Reagan National Airport to the Marriott Wardman park should be less than 40 minutes. Ride sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are also available at Reagan National.

Dulles International Airport
Washington, D.C. does not offer public transit either to or from Dulles International. Delegations arriving at Dulles International Airport can utilize either Uber or Lyft when traveling from the airport to the Marriott Wardman Park.

Baltimore/Washington International Airport
Please be aware that the Baltimore/Washington International Airport is in Baltimore, Maryland. When arriving at BWI, delegations should take the free shuttle offered by the airport from BWI to the MARC/Amtrak station. At the MARC/Amtrak station, delegations can take the MARC Penn Line to Union Station in Washington D.C. At Union station, delegations should take the Red line going towards Shady Grove to the Woodley Park Zoo - Adams Morgan Station. From the Woodley Park Zoo - Adams Morgan station, the Marriott Wardman Park is less than a blocks away. In total, transit time from Reagan National Airport to the Marriott Wardman park should be around 1 hour and 30 minutes. Ride sharing services such as Uber and Lyft are available at BWI, however, because the car ride from BWI to Washington, D.C. is around 50 minutes, Uber and Lyft prices will be close to $50-60/car.


Arriving at the Marriott Wardman Park

Room Check-in begins at 4:00 PM. Check-in information regarding the conference itself can be found here. Check-out is at 11 AM on Sunday.

Wifi & Internet Access
Wifi is free in the lobby and convention space at the Marriott Wardman Park. Wifi is also free for Marriott Rewards members in guest rooms. The AmeriMUNC VI secretariat strongly encourages all delegates and advisors staying at the Marriott Wardman Park to sign up for the Marriott Rewards program; the program is free to join and only requires a email. Once a Marriott rewards account is made, then delegates and advisors will be able to access free wifi in their guest rooms.

Parking
The Marriott Wardman Park offers on sight parking for delegation staying at the hotel. The on-site parking, fee is $48/per day and Valet parking is $55/per day. Please also note that the garage height clearance is 5 feet 10 inches.
