The Third Presidential Cabinet of Vladimir Putin

Conflict: The North Korean Crisis

Здравствуйте Дамы и Господа Council of Ministers, President Putin awaits you in the Grand Kremlin Palace. We are living in an age of unprecedented uncertainty. The great Chinese dragon has awoken; the United States has turned inward for the first time since the Second World War; the Pacific is in a free-fall power vacuum. Ministers, can you guide Russia into a new era of success? Can you seize the mantle of power from the United States in the Pacific? Can you find middle ground with an increasing hostile North Korea? Prepare your men and ready the forces of the Russian Federation. The time to recapture the glory of the former Soviet Union has come. The American Century is over. Welcome to the Russian Century.

Emily Devereaux
Chair
ed4865a@student.american.edu

Emily is an undergraduate at American University. Originally from Gloucester City, NJ, or "right outside of Philadelphia", she is in the School of International Service, on the pre-med track. She is a member of the AU Model UN Team and is excited to chair AmeriMUNC VI! Prior to coming to American University, Emily competed in local Model UN conferences and Ethics Bowl, so she is still always open to debating different ethical principles. When Emily is procrastinating on her homework, she is most likely reading, looking for fun (free) events throughout DC, or talking about the Eagles' Super Bowl win in 2018.

Nisaa Chaudhry
Chair

Nisaa Chaudhry is an undergraduate at American University with a health major as part of the pre-med track. She competed in Model UN throughout high school and was part of a secretariat that organized her high school-level conference. She is a D.C. area native, so she loves showing her friends around the city and trying new things with them. Outside of class, you can catch her tutoring with D.C. Reads, cheering on the Wizards, or watching re-runs of Scandal. Being a part of Model UN is one of her most cherished high school memories, and she is very excited to take part in AmeriMUNC VI.
