Conflict: Guyana-Suriname Basin Conflict

The Guyana-Suriname Basin is the world’s last major unexplored oil basin. With an estimated resource potential of 13.7 Bbbl of oil, Guyana-Suriname Basis could be worth over $28 billion in recoverable oil. Discovered by a joint Exxon-Chevron exploration mission, the extraction rights to the Guyana-Suriname Basin are rightfully ours. Members of the Chevron Board of Directors, will you win what could possibly be the last great oil rush? Can you move swiftly in building extraction infrastructure? Or will political maneuvers by the Brazilian and Suriname government cost us the last great oil basin? Prepare the tankers and ready the rig teams. We set sail to Suriname at dusk.
